Featured artist: Kat Antis "Textured Porcelain" Dec. 22 - Jan. 30 The May Carter Pottery studio will be featuring porcelain work of Appomatox potter Kat Antis. Kat graduated from Virginia Tech, studying with David Crane, was a resident at Cub Creek, and now teaches in our program of classes. Her work, both wheel thrown and hand built features unique stamped and slip trailed designs which are enhanced by her transparent glazes. Her work will be featured both at First Friday and in the Arts & Education lobby during January. Academy First Fridays (second Friday for January!)
