Improvised Comedy To Hit The Academy Of Fine Arts Stage
LYNCHBURG - (February 25, 2013) Audiences won't know what to expect this Friday, March 1 when Broadway's Next H!T Musical, a completely improvised musical comedy, comes to the Academy of Fine Arts' warehouse theatre.
This critically-acclaimed show was called "a fun, snappy night of comedy and music" by NEXT Magazine. The New York Post claimed that it possesses "a spontaneity, wit and inventiveness that must be seen to be believed."
The first act of the performance features the show's expert improvisers gathering song title suggestions from audience members and voting on the top four. The second act consists of a completely improvised musical comedy based on the winning song!
